After reading a story about California inmates who wanted to make a difference while in isolation so they asked if they could make face masks and PPE for first responders, I found that this wasn't an isolated incident. There are quite a few incidents where prisoners are doing something similar. Some make them for the homeless. Some are doing it to help law enforcement officers.
