VETERANS MAKE FUNERAL HONOR GUARD VIDEO FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T DUE TO PANDEMIC

A group of military veterans in North Carolina have made a video of a funeral honor guard for veterans who have died but can't have one in person at their funeral because of the coronavirus pandemic. Rob Luffman, whose late father served in the Air Force, led the effort after seeing a friend's post on Facebook asking for someone to play "Taps" at her Vietnam veteran father's funeral several weeks ago. He told Fox News, "That was the first time it occurred to me that veterans were not getting honors ceremonies at graveside services." He started calling local VFWs and friends who were service members trying to find an honor guard willing to do one for a video and was able to put it together. He said, "The film is on the Internet. All I ask is that the link to the YouTube video be shared so folks in need can find it, and share it with loved ones in times of need."
