Missing 40 Pound Cat Found Safe In New Hampshire

Spartacus

A cat that escaped from its New Hamphsire home has been found safe and sound. Spartacus spent days out in the wild — and likely scared a few people. Sparticus is a 40-pound African serval cat. Spartacus’ owners adopted the cat from a Florida zoo four years ago. The family owns the cat legally and has a permit from the state’s department of fish and game. Spartacus lives indoors, spending the days in an enclosure and roaming the family house at night.

A similar African serval cat living with a family in Jasper County was spooked from its home near Hardeeville several years ago and was found just miles away near Palmetto Bluff after a lengthy search that ultimately went viral.
