The Sopranos star James Gandolfini has passed away at the age of 51. TMZ is reporting that the actor was in Italy at the time of his death and was scheduled to participate in the 59th annual Taormina Film Festival in Sicily this weekend. It is believed he suffered a heart attack.
New details regarding the untimely death of James Gandolfini reveal that the 51-year-old actor was on a "guy's trip" with his son Michael -- who recently graduated from eighth grade -- before the pair were planning to head over to Sicily for the Taormina Film Festival. James' first wife Marcy Wudarski reportedly flew to Italy on Wednesday (June 19th) to be with her son after hearing about James' death.
I cannot imagine anyone else playing this dynamic and enigmatic character as well as Gandolfini.
