A heartwarming story from North Carolina is generating buzz around the web.
A local family got an unexpected and inspiring note from a mystery diner while they were out to dinner Friday night with their eight-year-old son Riley, who has special needs. According to WBTV-TV, Riley got “a little rowdy” over dinner and the mom was worried her son was disturbing other diners.
That's when a waitress walked over with a note from another customer, informing the family that their bill had been paid. It read, “God only gives special children to special people.”
Mom Ashley England says, "To have someone do that small act towards us shows that some people absolutely understand what we are going through and how hard it is to face the public sometimes," she said. "They made me cry, blessed me more than they know – I felt like out of all the rude negative comments that we are faced with – these outweighs them. The people who care!"
